Dream Theater

For many years I have been dreaming of having a room in my home, dedicated to viewing and hearing movies the way current technology has designed them to. When my wife and I decided to have our basement finished, a home theater for that purpose was high on our priority list. As with any project, research and planning is critical, and the help of a professional who is knowledgeable in the field can make the task much easier.

I envisioned my theater equipped with a large screen with a picture illuminated by a state-of-the-art projector and audio/video components of the higher end in performance, pushing sound through speakers of the same, but was unsure exactly how and who would help me to make this dream become a reality.

After reading several different magazines on the subject and spending countless hours surfing the World Wide Web gathering knowledge on the technology as well as design ideas, I began contacting companies specializing in home theaters. One company never returned my calls and canceled appointments, and other company's equipment was an insult to the plans I had for the room. I called your establishment not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. My first call for answers to a few general questions about home theaters were thoroughly fielded by a polite and professional individual who identified himself as Dave Cunningham. Over the months to follow, Mr. Cunningham and I met numerous times, both in the business's showroom and in my home, planning, designing and building the theater room of which I've been dreaming. I was completely impressed by Mr. Cunningham's knowledge of the technically complicated equipment he sold, and I could see that he loved what he did. He listened to my ideas and understood exactly what I wanted out of the system. He was not afraid to recommend changes to my plans, and explained why the changes would only improve the theater's performance. Mr. Cunningham's intelligence, dedication and love of his profession shines and made this project enjoyable for my wife and me, and one that we will never forget.

Fine Job

Personnel at Other Stores Didn't Even Come Close...

Dear Hi-Fi Sales,

Congratulations on hiring and keeping such professional, competent, and pleasant colleagues. You sold me a system that is more wonderful than I could have imagined for my home. Gary and his associate were the techs that did the installation.

After my husband and I became frustrated with our visits to other stores, interior designer Bambi Drain suggested we try Hi-Fi Sales. Your guys figured out what we were looking for, even though we were unable to tell them. They put together a system that sounds amazing! The system allows us to listen to the quality of music we were looking for, that was appropriate for the rooms we wanted the music, and that fit our price range. They were extremely knowledgeable, personable and not pushy. Personnel at other stores didn’t even come close to his talents. If not for Hi-Fi Sales, we either wouldn't have music, or would have bad, distorted music.

Gary is tremendously talented, efficient, and effective. He installed the system as if he were installing it in his own home! He suggested ideas to make a great system even better. He too, was very knowledgeable, doing so much more than I would have gotten from another store's personnel. I think he could probably turn water into wine.

Your employees really worked as a team. They take their work seriously. Most importantly, they paid attention to our specific needs, which research shows, attracts more customers than location, name, money, and all the other things that we all struggle and compete with.

Talk of the Party....

Hi Guys,

The remote is neat! So far Gregg has not had a problem. Everyone at the party wanted to know why we didn't have to point the remote at the cable box or why we could have the system in the closet. It was quite the talk of the party. The Yamaha Sound Projector also generated quite a bit of buzz. Many didn't believe it could actually sound the way it did especially when we had a movie in the system.

Outstanding Workmanship!!

Thank you for sending Gary out to do our installation. He is one cracker-jack of a technician! In addition to being technically proficient and meticulous in his work, he is extremely conscientious in staying with the job until everything is working as it should. Gary put in a very long day yesterday, and he will have to come back later to complete a few calibrations but his most appreciated accomplishment yesterday was getting the TiVo wired into the system correctly and working with full functionality [something Verizon could not do].

I also think that Gary's new helper and understudy will make an excellent employee for HiFi Sales.

Perfectly Coordinated

I just wanted to drop you a note regarding our new equipment that Dave Cunningham put together for us. The system is just great and was perfectly coordinated between Hi-Fi Sales and David Ramsey Cabinetmaker. Building a new entertainment system into an existing wall unit was a challenge but the result was great. Dave Cunningham coordinated it and the install by Gary and Paul was beautifully done. It is impossible to tell that the new system was not done at the same time as the existing wall unit which is 15 years old. Everything came out great and your team was super. Thanks so much!
